Knowledge Master
| Hawaii IPM Overview | We reported earlier on the development of a computer
knowledgebase about pests and diseases. In July, we
finalized a web-based version. The knowledgebase is
accessible on the Internet at
http://www.extento.hawaii.edu. Although we have no
assessment about the value of the knowledgebase, monthly
user totals increased greatly from nearly 400 in
September to more than 2,500 in February 1999.
