Ngo Gai (Eryngium foetidum L.) (Ngo Gai)
Eryngium foetidum L. is commonly known in Hawaii by the Vietnamese name ngo gai. Other common names used elsewhere include Puerto Rican coriander, shado benni, culantro, recao, and long coriander. The aroma emitted when the leaves are handled is nearly identical to that of cilantro (Chinese parsley). Propagation is mainly by seeds.
